Michael Blasser, DVM


Dr. Michael C. Blasser grew up in Arcadia, Indiana and currently resides in Henderson, Kentucky. He received both an undergraduate and his DVM degree from Purdue University. Prior to joining the Fort Branch Veterinary Hospital team, Dr. Blasser practiced in Naples, Florida and Noblesville and Evansville, Indiana. His special interests include general medicine and surgery, such as removing fish hooks from sea turtles and pelicans.

Outside of work, Dr. Blasser enjoys camping, photography, sewing, woodworking, stained glass, shooting, and is currently trying to make a shoe. He has 12 children, 32 grandchildren, and two great granddaughters, along with a Shi Tzu named, Hoover, and three cats named, Twinkle, Twitch, and Toodles McZippy.

Dr. Blasser is in his 47th year of veterinary medicine. He once did 35,000 surgeries at the local Humane Society in a five-year period.
